“The cobbler’s kids have no shoes”.
Premium Organization has been actively serving, coaching, and managing non-profit organizations since 2000. In our zeal to spread the word about our clients to their potential members, donors, and our community at large, we have never before paused to tell our own story. We have grown primarily through referrals from existing board member clients and word of mouth.
So now, as we pass our 10th year of service to the independent sector, it is time to gather our stories, our best practices, our ideas, and our amazement at what we do, at what you do, and at how our world changes every day, into a place where they can be shared.
At last, we will do for ourselves what we have done for so many organizations….build a website, display our vision and mission, communicate with our broader community, and collaborate with those non-profits and professionals moving a vision and mission forward via our best practices, favorite tools, and little bits of wisdom. Finally, the fabled cobblers’ kids will have some shoes!

As I begin this story telling journey, I have some themes in mind for the first set of blogs: On Leadership, On Staff, On Volunteers, and On Committees. I have a pile of e-mails, sticky notes, articles, and photos to cue my memory and sharpen my pen. No doubt, the categories will expand, hopefully my writing will improve, and your comments and support will help us do what we exist to do: Shape our Community through Dynamic Non Profits!
